This is the last weekend before Black Friday, so it may be your last chance to enjoy yourself before the rush of the holiday season. Here are some local events taking place in Rhode Island from Friday the 21st to Sunday the 23rd.

Also on Friday, the Providence Bruins will be playing the Hartford Wolf Pack. On Sunday, the Bruins will be playing the Springfield Falcons. The matches will be held at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence. Learn more at www.dunkindonutscenter.com.

There is also on Friday the Norwood Baptist Church Winter Wonderland Bazaar, at 48 Budlong Avenue in Warwick. It will feature a silent auction, gift baskets, gourmet food and local crafts. Also, Santa will be there for the kids.

On Saturday, the Aldrich Mansion will be hosting an evening of Celtic music by Ulster Landing. The Aldrich Mansion is located at 836 Warwick Neck Avenue in Warwick. Learn more at aldrichmansion.com.

Also on Saturday, Ghost Brothers of Darkland County will be performed at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium. Ghost Brothers of Darkland County joins the writing of Stephen King with the music of John Mellencamp for an entertaining and hair-raising experience. Learn more at www.vmari.com.

Saturday the 22nd is also the first night of Christmas at the Mansions, an event held through the new year by the Preservation Society. This event will be held at the Breakers, the Elms, and Marble House.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Providence Children’s Museum will be hosting the “Ice Play” event, which will feature a number of snowy and icy activities, such as ice sculpture. It takes place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Learn more at www.childrensmuseum.org.
