The weekend, music to our ears.  Per usual, Rhode Island is offering up another weekend full of fun!  Here are some events to be added to the “must” part of your weekend docket. As always, enjoy your RI weekend!

BEERVANA!  Oh yes, it is as it sounds…a glorious day dedicated to the celebration of beer.  Here are the details:

Friday October 14, 2016. 6:30PM – 10:00PM.

Ticket includes 1 tasting glass, 2 oz pours of some of the best beers in the world, educational seminars, fest guide and 1 bottle of water.

Haunted Providence Masquerade Ball will not only be a frighteningly good time, it will also benefit the Providence Animal Rescue League…so you can feel good about having an awesome time! Here are the details:

Friday the 14th, 9 pm at Aurora theme…Good Vs. Evil muhawhawhaw tickets are $40

The Golden Age of Sail will take place at the Bristol Maritime Center from 5-8pm on the 14th!  Details here:

The Golden Age Of Sail, a photographic exhibition featuring  the designs of Nathanael Greene Herreshoff, and other great designers from sailing’s Golden Age, will open at the Bristol Maritime Center, in the former Naval Armory, 127 Thames St, Bristol, RI, Friday October 14 from 5 to 8 and run thru Dec 31. Refreshments will be served. Barbara Derecktor Donahue, The Dancing Spirit of Rhode Island is performing ” Veils are Sails” This exhibition is being produced in cooperation with Bristol/Warren Art Night.

 

HopArts will take place on the 15th and the 16th form 10-5 pm in Richmond and Hopkinton area.  Walk along the trail to local art studios and check out their incredible work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5 Meter Heavy Breather  will take place st Sons of Liberty Distillery on the 15th from 1-4pm.  Here are the details:

Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival will be honoring the bounties of the sea all weekend long!  This is one of the year’s best culinary events…details here:
