Wickford Gourmet is back in it’s original location on Brown St.
The bookstore on the corner is interesting as is the Different Drummer,Mermaid’s Purl new young owner Lizzie who has a superbowl party with chili and a keg every year.
There is a new gift store Moby & Madge behind Wilson’s- buckets of seaglass and Lulabells is the old Wellspring from Bellevue in Newport.I also like the Blue Hydrangea and Beauty & the Bath.
The Different Drummer has a anniversary sale in early April- percentage off one item-which reflects the number of years in business something like 30 plus now, $5 grab bags that I am a total sucker for and $2 card grab bags.
