On Tuesday, January 30th, spend an evening under the stars with Chef Robert Sisca and Jonathan Edwards Winery for the first of this year’s food and wine series on the Rooftop at the Providence G.
Upon arrival, enjoy passed canapes and mingle with guests before being seated for a four-course dinner paired with wines from Jonathan Edwards Winery based out of North Stonington, CT.
Learn about grape-growing and winemaking techniques from Jonathan Edwards, and the story behind the winery his parents first started. “I’m excited to be back in Providence and working with Chef Sisca once again, as I thoroughly enjoyed his dishes at the Culinary Showdown here last year,” says Edwards. “By pairing two wines with each course, guests will see just how versatile the wines are, and how well they pair with Chef Sisca’s style.”
Chef Sisca too, looks forward to this partnership with Jonathan Edwards Winery. “From spanish octopus to wagyu strip loin, this dinner is sure to be an amazing evening of great wine and great food,” says Sisca. “I always look forward to pairing dishes with key ingredients that accent Jonathan’s wines just perfectly.”
Live entertainment with keyboardist Jhony Keys and vocalist/steel drummer Becky Bass will add to the setting for what is sure to be a memorable evening on the Rooftop.
