Children and adults are encouraged to bike to India Point Park and participate in Mayor Elorza’s 1st Annual Independence Day Bike Parade. Residents from all neighborhoods are encouraged to join 6:00PM at Providence City Hall as the bicycle-train weaves its way through Downtown Providence picking up more cyclists at India Point Park by the playground at 6:30PM. Participants can park their bikes for no cost at the event’s bike valet.Guests can enjoy their favorite flavors of the Ocean State with a food truck market presented in partnership with FoodTrucksIn.com.Local Latin Rockers Santa Mamba will kick off the main stage festivities beginning at 8pm followed by a spectacular fireworks display over Narragansett Bay at 9:15pm. Immediately following the fireworks display the crowd is encouraged to stick around and dance the night away with a very special guest performing on the main stage.The rain date will be July 5, 2016.

Bryant University and the Town of Smithfield invite Smithfield residents for a performance by the U.S. Navy Band and fireworks.
The campus opens to the public at 6 pm
The U.S. Navy Band will perform at 8 pm
Fireworks begin at 9 pm
You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on.
Please do not bring personal fireworks, pets, or alcoholic beverages to this event.
Annual Fireworks Display
The city’s annual fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day will be held at the Oakland Beach seawall.
Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.)
In case of inclement weather, residents should call 738-2000 for updates on delays or cancellations. The Department of Tourism, Culture and Development’s Facebook and Twitter accounts (Facebook.com/WarwickRI and Twitter.com/WarwickRI) will also have updates.
Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced.
Due to the volume of traffic expected at the seawall, residents are also advised to expect heavy delays on Oakland Beach Avenue and to seek alternate routes to the seawall area, such as Sea View Drive or Pequot Avenue.
Residents are advised that the fireworks can also be viewed from City Park, which offers fantastic, unobstructed views of the display along the shoreline.

The official kick-off on July 4th, Patriotic Exercises, for the 229th continuous time, will be held in front of Colt School, located on Hope Street, in downtown Bristol. All are welcome!!
Parade – July 4, 2016
The Fourth of July Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. and will step-off at the corner of Chestnut Street and Hope Street (Rt. 114) and ends on High Street, between State Street and Bradford Street. Hope Street (Rt. 114) will be closed off beginning at 8:00 a.m., including Poppasquash Road. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., Chestnut Street, Naomi Street and Sherry Avenue will be close to traffic. A parking ban along the parade route goes into effect the night before the parade
4th of July Independence Day Beach Party
The Beach party will be on Monday, July 4th at the Town Beach. The fun starts in the afternoon with building sandcastles by Sandtasia. Brass Force will be playing from 5:00pm-7:00pm on the deck at the North Beach Clubhouse.
