  1. The Eternal Masquerade: Held at the Providence Public Library on Halloween, the Eternal Masquerade will feature Spookyinteractive performances, food, dancing, and more. Costumes are recommended, and masks will be provided. Learn more here.
  2. P. Lovecraft Walking Tour: H.P. Lovecraft is one of the most famous horror writers of all time, and is undoubtedly the most famous and acclaimed Rhode Island author. This walking tour, run by the Rhode Island Historical Society, will take you through Lovecraft’s Providence. Learn more here.

  4. Field of Screams: The Field of Screams is one of Rhode Island’s best annual Halloween events. This year they’ll be hosting an event that will let you shoot “zombies” with window-mounted paintball guns. Learn more at www.hauntedhayride.net.

  6. Creepy Critters: On October 25th, the Providence Children’s Museum will hold this combination animal viewing and costume party. It will take place from noon to 2:00 PM. Learn more at www.childrenmuseum.org.

  8. FEAR : This is the tenth annual night of FEAR, a haunted house taking place at Fort Adams in Newport. Go through the tunnels of terror, stop by the airsoft rifle range, or head over to the Halloween carnival midway. Learn more here.
