Enjoy Columbus Day Weekend to the Max!

Here is a list of 6 eventful events taking place this upcoming weekend, from Friday October 10^th to Sunday October 12^th.

1.  On Friday the 10^th, the ArtProv Gallery in Providence will hold the final day of their “Earthen Elements” exhibit. This is your last chance to view the works of Qatar-based painter and sculptor Vibha Nanda. The exhibit is open from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday. Learn more at www.artprovidence.com/exhibitions.

2.  At the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) will start their run of Rodger and Hammerstein’s musical Cinderella on Friday the 10^th, and will run through the 18^th. Tickets start a $53, although group discounts are available. Learn more at www.ppacri.com/events/detail/cinderella.

3.  On Saturday the 11^th, AS220 will be holding the Mini Maker Fair. This is an outdoor event is a celebration of crafts, homemade tech and other DIY activities and products. The fair will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Learn more about the Mini Maker Fair at http://makerfaireri.com.

4.  Fossil Frenzy will be taking place at the Museum of Natural History at Roger Williams Park this Saturday. This event, in celebration of National Fossil Day, come by the Museum and check out an array of fossil specimens. The event starts at 2:00 PM on Saturday. 6.  Finally, on Sunday the 12^th, there will be the Field of Dreams craft show and car show in Chepachet. The fair will feature hundreds of classic and antique cars, food (Including fresh apples) and a raffle. All proceeds will go towards the St. Eugene’s food bank.
