The weekend never seems long enough, especially when there are so many great things to do. Here are 5 events to rock your weekend in Rhode Island!
- Tilted Barn Turns 1!– Far beyond its year in wisdom and flavor, Tilted Barn Brewery has been on the scene for a year. In celebration of their first year they will be hosting a party with, Walrus & Carpenter back shuckin’ oysters, Farm and Forest making wood fired pizza, and live music from The Mosaics. Tap list for the day will be Chosen One DIPA, Raffi Oatmeal Stout, and Farm Girl IPA. Additionally, they will have a limited amount of pre-filled jack. growlers (first come first served). This all takes place Saturday the 21st from 1-4. No tickets necessary and no entrance fee, just stop in any time from 1-4! Wish them luck on their road to continued success!

Sons of Liberty Spirits Hosts “Booze Benefit for Stef”– This Saturday, November 21st, Sons of Liberty will be hosting a benefit for Stefanie Carr, a member of the team who miraculously and thankfully survived being struck by a car while riding her bike. She is on the road to recovery and this benefit will support her. In fact, “all proceeds from the bar, raffles and other Sons of Liberty purchases will go straight to Stefanie to help pay for her medical bills and ice cream (she likes ice cream).” Whaler’s Brewing Co.and Proclamation Ale will be in attendance as well. Even more, there will be live entertainment from James DeSalvo and raffles from local businesses.
- Holiday Faire 2015 at MeadowBrook Waldorf School– This event takes place on Friday night and on Saturday. Friday night provides hospitality for the adults by a cozy bon-fire, and the opportunity to shop natural and hand-made gifts without the little ones. Saturday provides a magical family day of crafts, pony rides, marionette shows, the crystal cave and so much more!
- Christmas at the Newport Mansions– This event kicks off on November 21st and continues until January 3rd. “The glitter of gold and the sparkle of silver will dazzle you as you tour three magnificent mansions decked out in Yuletide finery. Music, tours, and spectacular decorations highlight the celebration of Christmas at the Newport Mansions.”
- Holiday Preview Weekend in Bristol!– There is no shortage of reasons to find your way to Bristol anytime of the year. This weekend the ” Bristol Merchants Association invites you to kick off your shopping this holiday season Bristol. Follow the luminaries throughout downtown for unique holiday gift ideas, refreshments in many of the stores and holiday entertainment. Shop local.”
Friday evening is the big kickoff evening and the beginning of the Snowflake Raffle: 5 – 9 PM
