- Spring Festival at the Carousel Village

Welcome spring at the Roger Williams Park Zoo’s Spring Festival at Carousel Village on Saturday, April 8 (rain/shine). Meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy animal encounters with some of the Zoo’s ambassador animals, take unlimited carousel rides and enjoy endless jumps in the bounce house. Don’t miss a pop-up interactive art wall, exhibitors, coloring activities and more! Advance tickets online are $7. Remaining tickets sold at the door day of the event are $8. Pony rides will be available, weather permitting, at an additional cost of $5.
2. Visit with the Easter Bunny at the Carousel Village
Sunday, April 9; Friday, April 14 & Saturday, April 15 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Visit with the Easter Bunny, then enjoy a ride on the Carousel or play the day way in the bounce house. And don’t forget to bring your camera!
3. Wild Art
Saturday, April 15 | 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Artist and educator Eric Fulford returns to Wild Art! Each class will include a visit to the focus animal, where students will observe the animals’ unique adaptations and form before returning to the classroom to create their works of art.
4. Party for the Planet
Monday, April 17 – Friday, April 21 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Roger Williams Park Zoo is hosting the ever-popular Party for the Planet, a full week of fun for families to share. The event will run during the public school vacation week for many students in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. The emphasis will be on activities, demonstrations and performances that children and their parents will enjoy. Daily, everyone may enjoy fun animal encounters with the Zoo’s education wild animal ambassadors, entertainment, games, and music, as well as special “Keeper Talks” to learn more from the zookeepers about exhibit animals. Free with Zoo admission.
5. Rock-A-Baby Concert
Saturday, April 29 | 10:30 – 11:15 AM
This exciting 45- minute concert specifically geared towards our youngest Zoo guests promises to be fun for the whole family! Shake, dance and sing along as we explore fun musical concepts, play games, and boogie down. Pre-registration is required.
