Hello Dear Readers! Great to be back with you and sharing my latest discovered gem in RI! Recently I had the good fortune to go for an after dinner drink. We ended up at Liliana’s Italian Restaurant on Tower Hill Rd. in South County. I had a wonderful drink with incredible service! Yes you South County stay-at-homes, I ventured past The Tower but only by a few feet! To those of you beyond the towers, come south and give this place a try.
Liliana’s is the Restaurant attached to the Holiday Inn on Route 1 in Wakefield. We sat at the bar and were served by Sandra who made us feel right at home with some great drink suggestions. I had the Tuscan Pear Martini which was refreshingly fruity, subtly sweet and very smooth. Just perfect to remind me summer is on it’s way! My Dear Friend chose the Snicker-doodle Martini which was very much in competition with my own selection as far as flavor goes. I highly recommend checking out Liliana’s for at least a drink. This Blogger plans on going a bit earlier next time because there was rumor of a dish called Pollo Liliana with artichokes and roasted red peppers that is causing a stir!
