BoldrDash Returns to the Beach After 3 Year Hiatus

BoldrDash is returning to Scarborough State Beach Sept. 22 for the first time since 2015. The event, taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., offers an opportunity to breathe in the summer air one last time, while running through the sand along the ocean line.

An old favorite for BoldrDash participants, the beach course consists of a 3-4 mile stretch filled with obstacles spanning the sand, open fields, and the wooded trails at Black Point.

Participants can expect to climb rope netting, crawl through the beautiful Rhode Island beach sand and carry a buoy down the coast.

Closing the event will be two kids races with waves at 12 and 12:20 p.m., where anyone ages 3 to 12 can enjoy 1-2 miles of the adult course. Kids can hop, swing and balance through obstacles just right for them.

BoldrDash on the Beach is the final event in the first-ever B3 Trifecta. Participants who have completed all three BoldrDash events this year (WinterDash, Color Me Bold and BoldrDash on the Beach), will receive a special medal celebrating their accomplishment.

While People’s Credit Union will present the event, other sponsors with an on-site presence include: Dave’s Marketplace, Elite Physical Therapy, Paul Bailey’s Jeep and Yawgoo EMS.

There’s less than one month until we hit the beach and we want you to join us. Register by Sept. 19 for reduced event pricing. Event day pricing will be available, but wave times will be limited.
