The Armory, a large brick building built in the late 19th century, has a massive exhibit hall with hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings.The big draw of the Brewfest isn’t the architecture, however. There will be more than forty different breweries represented, many of them native to Rhode Island, and more than 125 different varieties of beer.

If you’ve driven through the area in the last few months, you may have seen the newly-opened brewery’s painted door on Main Street. They offer some great new brews; try out their maple stout, which adds real maple syrup to the brewing process. It adds a rich sweetness to the stout.
For a more established brewery, you can’t go wrong with something from the Trinity Brewhouse, which both brews and serves high quality beer. Trinity always brings something interesting, and their offerings at the Pawtucket Brewfest will not be the exception.
There will be plenty of other local breweries, including Newport Storm, Narragansett and the Union Station Brewery. There will also be some regional breweries represented, such as the new Naukabout Beer out of Cape Cod, or Hartford’s City Steam Brewery.

Tickets to the Brew Fest in Pawtucket, RI are $59.02 per patron. There are two separate tasting sessions, the first from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and the second from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Both take place on February 1st. If you’re not going to drink, you can get a designated driver ticket for $16.82. Tickets are limited, so if you’re planning on attending, make sure to reserve tickets earlier than later. Regardless of whether or not you are drinking, you must be over 21 to attend.
