Coastal Growers Market…

More Than a Market…It’s an Experience!Coastal Growers Market

The Coastal Growers Market, known to many as Casey Farm Market, is more than an experience in shopping for local produce.  Rarely does one go there simply to buy produce, meats, fish, flowers or goods.  Instead, they plan to spend some time there with the ultimate goal of doing some shopping.  The air is filled with the scents fresh finds and rich with the sound of live music.  Every Saturday from 8:30-12:30 you can expect to find local fruits and veggies, grass fed meats, locally caught seafood, local eggs & chicken, live music, local artisans and tasty treats to eat. Tallulah’s Tacos are worth the trip alone, get in line early because they are a hot commodity.   If you are more of a pizza lover be sure to have a slice from Bravo Wood Fired Pizza.    Re-hydrate by  to sampling a juice from Fully Rooted and get going with a cold brew coffee from The Coffee Guy.  It is wise to prepare a list of what you need before hand because one can easily get off track here with all the fun that abounds.  There are farm programs that vary from week to week to keep the little ones interested.  You can also find a variety of animals that are often open for the petting.  It is common to find a gaggle of kids flitting around the musician while parents take a load off in the grass.   There is a large tree that provides shade for all and plenty of picnic tables to sit down and enjoy.  This makes local shopping even more enticing.  There are two huge lots so there is always plenty of free parking.  If you are interested in the schedule of all the markets, click here.
