The Vets

The Veterans Memorial Auditorium, more commonly referred to as The Vets, is one of the great performance centers in Providence. Here are some of the events they will be hosting in the next month.

 

Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari will be performing stand-up comedy on his Modern Romance tour. Ansari, a young and critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian, will be appearing on May 5^th starting at 8:30. Tickets are $29.75 for the second rear balcony, and $39.75 for the rest of the auditorium.

 

On May 5^th, Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Bryan Adams will be playing on his Bare Bones tour. Tickets start at $32.50, while front orchestra tickets are available for $78.

 

On May 10^th, The Vets will host the Rhode Island Philharmonic will be performing the works of Beethoven, Strauss, and Ravel. Tickets start at $15.

 

On May 16^th, 17^th, and 18^th, Festival Ballet Providence will be performing the classic children’s tale Peter Pan. Tickets start at $23.

 

On May 21^st, Grammy award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti will be performing some of his signature songs. Botti has had four separate number one jazz albums, and has performed with many legendary musicians, including Yo-Yo Ma and Frank Sinatra. Tickets start at $38.
