Lindsey Lerner and Phil Terry (Phantom) have brought an innovative music model to Rhode Island. These two could clearly see that artists have many obstacles to overcome before they can be heard. Using their collective expertise, they decided to
revolutionize the way musicians and venues find each other, creating a “fair trade” of the music industry. By fostering relationships with local artists and establishments, they are able to help the music industry in RI flourish. D.Y.D is empowering artists to receive fair wages while increasing revenue and traffic to local establishments…a win-win!
” Music help us express our values, build bridges between cultures, and bring us together regardless of ethnicity, religion, or age.” -Phil Terry
The Fair Trade show is dedicated to raising awareness of the current issues that are taking place in the music industry.
