South County Adventure Boot Camp has been coaching local women for over ten years. Our passion is in their progress. It is times like this that we all dig deep and see what we can do to make our community better and stronger. We may be staying home, but it doesn’t mean we can’t be getting stronger! South County Adventure Boot Camp has gone virtual, and we hope you do too. Here’s why:
- Exercise Boosts Your Happiness: Working up a sweat increases your endorphins, aka your feel-good chemicals, leading to a happier state of being. Working out reduces stress and is proven to relieve depression and anxiety. During these “at-home” times, you may find yourself a bit more down than usual. This is normal, as it is a massive change for many of us. The critical piece is that you take charge! We are here for you 125% of the way, just as if we were in your living room with you.
- Exercise Boosts Immunity: Exercise can boost your mood and your immunity. It is said that regular exercise can, “help flush bacteria out of the lungs and airways, reducing your chance of getting sick. Exercise also helps white blood cells to circulate at a more rapid pace, allowing them to detect illnesses earlier.
- Exercise Creates Discipline: Starting and keeping a routine is essential in times like this. Carving out time for your health will create accountability for yourself and make you a better version of yourself for you and your family. Routine leads to discipline. If you schedule your workout, you are less likely to skip it.
- Exercise Creates Time for YOU!: Creating YOU time is already a challenge. Now add in quarantine, working from home, home-schooling, and the like…it may seem nearly impossible. Now, more than ever, you need to create that time for you. This is one hour dedicated to your health and wellness.
