Experience Rhode Island

Do you ever find yourself wondering how to choose a restaurant in Providence when there are so many delicious options? And, the truth is there’s only so much cuisine that either your stomach or your wallet can take. The perfect solution to this is the Dine Around Providence tour, which will be running for the rest of 2014.  This Experience Rhode Island tour offers a great smattering of many of Providence’s finest restaurants.

Seven different restaurants will be participating. There’s Aspire, the contemporary Westminster Street restaurant that specializes in modern American cuisine and locally-sourced seafood. Enjoy their Point Judith Calamari, pan-seared Atlantic salmon, or, for something lighter, a watermelon salad.

The well known Cafe Nuovo, which has a full bar and a fantastic selection of delicious American dishes such as crab cakes or ten ounces of grilled swordfish.

You’ll also visit CAV, which offers a refined yet low-key atmosphere and a great selection of rich dishes like butter poached Maine lobster, walnut-encrusted brie, and a wild mushroom risotto served with a white truffle sauce.

There’s D’Vine on The Hill, which has a fine selection of flatbread pizzas, entrees like roasted halibut or grilled Filet Mignon with a mushroom demi-glace.

In addition you will stop in at Los Andes, which offers traditional South American food with a modern flair. If you’re looking for a dessert at Los Andes, treat yourself to their Aji De Gallina .

Mill's Tavern

And there’s Mill’s Tavern on North Main. At their raw bar, help yourself to their chilled poached black tiger shrimp  or their oysters on the half shell.

Finally, there’s The Dorrance. From lavender panna cotta to pan roasted monkfish, you’ll find something delicious on The Dorrance’s menu.

While the main draw of this tour may be the food, in between restaurants you’ll enjoy a lovely tour of downtown Providence at dusk.
