Rhode Island Festivals in June and July
You have to take advantage of the good weather while it’s here. And in Rhode Island, that means a number of summer fairs and festivals. Here are the festivals that are taking part this June and July in Rhode Island.
On June 28th and 29th, the 32nd annual Narragansett Fine Art Festival will be taking place. The festival takes place outside, right on the grass by the Narragansett Towers. From July 11th to July 27th, the Rhode Island Arts Foundation will be hosting the 2014 Newport Music Festival. 2014 will be the 46th season of this classical music festival and will feature sixty eight concerts in a dozen different venues, including several of the famous Newport mansions. It will feature sixty two separate artists from eighteen different countries, and features some amazing shows, such as the Sunset Concerts at the Breakers mansion. On July 12th and 13th, the Newport Kite Festival is being held at Brenton Point in Newport. Whether you’re a kite flyer yourself or you just want to see the sky above Brenton Point filled with scores of colorful kites, stop by the kite festival.
