The theme for the corn maze this year is “Angry Birds”!  Bring the entire family and enjoy the corn maze, hayrides, farm animals, and the pumpkin patch.  The cornstalks, hay bales, mums, gourds, and so many beautiful flowers, trees, and shrubs make this gorgeous farm an autumn paradise.  This is one of the best fall activities in Rhode Island for families!

Be sure to visit this authentic New England event in the quaint village of Usquepaugh, RI.  Here you will enjoy an abundance of free samples of local foods including johnny cakes, wine, beer, and more.  There will be a huge variety of seasonal foods, art, and crafts from more than 125 local farms, artisans, restaurants, and businesses for purchase.  Tours of the historic grist mill will be ongoing along with live music daily.

Since 2000, thousands of people have been making their way to Frerichs Farm to see the pumpkins and enjoy the festivities.  The SNGPG annual weigh off begins with the arrival of the pumpkins at 9:30 am followed by the splat of pumpkin drop at 11:30 am.  The weigh off officially begins at 12 noon.  Last year’s winning pumpkin weighed in at a jaw-dropping 1,872 pounds!  There will also be live music by The Whippets from 9 am to 12 pm and food and beverages are available for purchase.
