The Fourth of July will be here before you realize it, and before it does, you’ll want to find the best spot near you
to find fireworks in Rhode Island. So let’s take a look at the spots in northern Rhode Island that will be hosting a fireworks display this Independence Day.

In Providence, BankRI will be hosting the annual Independence Day Celebration in India Point Park. The park is sure to fill up. However, there is plenty of room, and the good thing about a fireworks display is that it usually doesn’t matter how many people are in front of you as long as you have a clear view of the sky. The RI Philharmonic Pops will be performing patriotic music at 7:30 PM, and the fireworks will start at 9:15 PM. Parking may be tricky, as no parking will be allowed on India Street itself.

Fireworks in Rhode Island

In Cumberland, the fireworks will be starting at 9:00 PM on July 3^rd, at Tucker Field. It’s right across the street from the high school, without some of the light pollution you may encounter in other parts of northern Rhode Island.

Also on July 3^rd, there will be a fireworks display at the World War 2 Memorial State Park in Woonsocket. The fireworks start at 9:00, but the swing band starts playing at 7:00, so be sure to get there early.

And, also on July 3^rd, the city of Warwick will be hosting its fireworks display at the Oakland Beach seawall, on Oakland Beach Avenue. You can also get a great view at Warwick City Park, which is right across the water. There’s also quite a bit more parking and space at Warwick City Park. Fireworks start around 9:00.
