Elton John’s Tribute Show Rocked the Stadium!

RI Blogger was kindly invited by Craig A. Meyer to cover his tribute to Sir Elton John during their stop at the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre in Woonsocket, RI on October 8^th.

The tribute show, entitled “Remember When Rock Was Young” entertained the near capacity crowd from start to finish. The two hour show featured countless Sir Elton John fan favorites including: “Benny and the Jets,” “Philadelphia Freedom,” “Crocodile Rock,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” and “Candle in the Wind.”

Craig A. Meyer’s strong vocals, striking resemblance, and outstanding talent on the piano backed by his six-piece band was nothing short of amazing. The superb acoustics at the Stadium Theatre backed by its historic theatre ambiance made the show extra special.
