great quality with an expansive Asian menu.

While Lemongrass is pan-Asian, with dishes of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese origin, their sushi selection is a great place to start. Along with more standard fare like California rolls and tuna rolls you can also find new favorites like their Unakyu roll, a cooked sushi made with tender eel meet, avacado, cucumber, and topped with nitsume, a sort of sweet soy sauce. You can order one of their meals, or go a la carte.

If sushi, or seafood in general, isn’t what you’re looking for, try their double-cooked pork served with black shiitake mushrooms, or a plate of Sliced Beef Moo Shu, or one of their great pad Thai dishes.

If you like your food with a bit of bite,  Lemongrass has a huge variety of spicy options. Try their perfectly-spiced Szechuan Chicken, or their spicy General Tso’s Fish, crispy fried cod served with broccoli.

For Vietnamese food, try their Banh Hoi, a dish made with woven vermicelli rice and scallions, or a big plate of bee bong, a noodle dish served with coconut milk, peanut sauce, and your choice of meat. Their Pad Thai has a great heat to it which is balanced out by the peanut sauce and bean sprouts.

This has only just scratched the surface of Lemongrass’ menu. If you like any kind of Asian food, you’ll have pretty good luck finding it at Lemongrass, and you’ll always find it palette pleasing.

  1. Great post! Haven’t tried lemongrass but I’ve heard great things. I will have to try now after your post. Also, maybe a recommendation for somewhere to try: Kon’s Asian Bistro in EG, RI. Great good, prices and atmosphere! I’d love to see you do a post.
