Ninigret Harvest Festival

This year Charlestown will be celebrating its 275th anniversary! What better way to show your support, and sneak in some family fun time…. Go to the Ninigret Harvest Festival in Charlestown RI of course!  The harvest festival is on Saturday September 21st from 11 am to 4:30 pm and is located at Ninigret Park, Rte. 1A, in Charlestown, RI 02812.  This festival has many Art and Craft vendors, the farmers market, some really great music, and food of course! There will also be so many exciting FREE events taking place!

• kids crafts and games
• scarecrow making
• horseshoes
• story telling
•  fishing
• Pumpkin painting
• 275th birthday cake!!!
• URI soil testing (bring a 1/4 cup of soil as a sample)
• electronic recycling (please no tv tubes and air conditioners)
• raffle and silent auction

The cost of this event for admission is $5.00, the proceeds from this donation benefit the community garden, which donates its produce to local food banks and meals on wheels.
(children under 12 are free)
Along with your donation you get a free cup of stone soup while supplies last!
