R1 Indoor Karting is one of the nation’s fastest indoor karting tracks and has been a RI destination for exciting and fun filled indoor entertainment since 2017.
RI Indoor Karting’s entertainment complex includes their signature high-speed karting mega-track, full-service restaurant and bar, arcade, billiard tables, and the home of Rhode Island’s first ax-throwing venue, “The Axe Bar”, a full-service bar that features 10 lanes of axe throwing for teams of two to ten that opened in 2019.
After a limited year of business in 2020 due to Covid required shutdowns and restrictions, R1 Indoor Karting returned with new state-of-the-art entertainment in 2021 with the addition of TimeZone, an Immersive Gaming Experience and the World’s largest Time Machine!
The 5,300 square foot attraction features a long spacecraft-like hallway that connects 25 different rooms, called portals. Each portal is unique and represents different time periods that puts your intelligence, physical condition, and hand eye coordination to the test. Good team cooperation is required to solve each challenge to earn as many points as possible. Beat the other teams and become a Master of Time!
R1 Karting is excited to bring the first ever Dart City to their already thrilling entertainment complex. Described as “Cyber Punk”, Dart City, complete with interactive darts and signature cocktails, encompasses advanced technological and scientific advancement mixed with the dark and gritty underworld of vices.
Inspired by the not-so-distant future, Dart City gives players an experience of endless thrills. Players are encouraged to tap into their competitive side as players are ranked during play and can challenge friends through interactive dart-based missions that really push the limits.
The lanes are reactive, with real time scoring and provide instant replays of the most epic moments. On a touch screen players create a profile, take a selfie, and choose games. Dart City provides all necessary equipment, but players are welcome to bring their own darts. Dart City uses professional bristle dartboards. It is the real deal and is open now!
