Rooftop at the Providence G is proud to be hosting a special edition of its monthly SURGE: LGBTQ+ Tea Dance in honor of Pride Month. On Saturday, June 15, SURGE will be brought down to the sidewalk to become the city’s biggest Pride Parade Viewing Party! Providence’s Pride Parade is New England’s only nighttime illuminated Pride Parade and has been dazzling guests for over four decades.
Hostesses Ninny Nothin’ and Danuel Duel are back, along with special guest DJ Derek “The Prince.” Starting at 6 PM, guests can enjoy food and drink specials outside with the SURGE bartenders before special drag performances by Ninny and Danuel. Noted DJ Derek “The Prince” will be spinning all the top hits to pump guests up to cheer on the parade. During the parade, our hostesses will entertain with hilarious commentary, like every holiday parade deserves! The block of the Providence G is the first stop of the parade, making the Providence G one of the best locations on the parade route for spectating. The parade will kick off at 8:30 PM.
Guests looking for dinner and cocktails before the party, or a place to sit inside during the parade, are welcome at Sarto, which will be offering its full dinner menu and specialty cocktails. Reservations are extremely limited, and strongly recommended. They can be made by visiting sartoprovidence.com
