The CBD Boutique, a retail store carrying organic CBD products, opened there downtown Wakefield location on December 13, 2019. Owner Eva Lanoue is a South County native and wanted to share what she found with the local community.
“About a year ago, I was in an accident that left me with debilitating pain almost 24/7. I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t eat. I could no longer function like a healthy 27year old should. My doctors had me on lists of medications from Vicodin and Percocet to Valium and Xanax. I lost 50 pounds inside of a month and refused to do anything but sleep a vast majority of the day. My husband started noticing these horrible changes and we decided to find an alternate way to help me ease my pain. We studied and I personally tested over 36 different CBD companies until I found a manufacturer that worked perfectly in every way. My pain went away, I felt my mental health become better every day. My husband and I decided that more people could possibly see the same if not better results as well. We wanted to help. We branded CanameD, and haven’t looked back since.”
The retail store concentrates on products that are organic, all natural, non-GMO, and products that are gluten free. If you are interested in learning about the benefits of CBD, the store is open 7 days a week, and offers free samples as well as gift certificates.
The Southern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce held an official ribbon cutting on Monday, January 13, 2020 to honor the new retail store located at 253 Main Street in Wakefield.
