If there was any sense of spring left earlier in the month, it is long gone by now. Summer is upon us. While the heat can be draining, don’t let that trap you in the house all weekend, sitting in front of a fan. Visit one of the many great events taking place this weekend in Rhode Island.
For something family friendly, check out the Magnet Play event at the Providence Children’s Museum. From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday the 21st, Magnet Play will encourage children to explore the world of magnetism in the museum’s Discovery Studio. And this weekend in Providence, the Dunkin’ Donuts Center will be hosting WWE Live. Including famous WWE wrestlers such as John Cena, Golddust and Kane, wrestling fans are sure to have a great time. If you want to end your weekend with a shopping spree, check out the Providence Flea on Sunday. A self-styled upscale flea marked, Providence Flea will be accompanied by live musical performances and food trucks. Whether or not you’re actually planning on buying anything, the Providence Flea is a window shopper’s dream, and you just may find a steal somewhere. In addition to vintage goods, you’ll also find many goods by local artists and artisans.
