Winter Wonder Days, Roger Williams Park Zoo

Visiting the Roger Williams Park Zoo tends to be an activity reserved for the warmer months of the year, since it’s outside. But visiting the zoo during the winter is a whole different experience, and Roger Williams Zoo’s Winter Wonder Days, running through February 28th, offers patrons a unique view of the animals.

Through February 28th, the Roger Williams Park Zoo will be offering half-price tickets, with adult tickets being $7.50, $6.50 for seniors, and $4.95 for children twelve and younger. Children two and under are admitted free of charge.

While many of the more cold-sensitive animals will have to stay indoors, such as the elephants and the giraffes, this is a great opportunity to see the seals, snow leopards, bald eagles, and more in their natural, chilly habitat.

The zoo is open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with final admission at 3:30. Parking for the zoo is at 1000 Elmwood Avenue in Providence.
