East Greenwich Strolls 2014
In East Greenwich, there are four separate strolls coming up in the next few weeks. Here’s a quick look at each of them.
The first stroll takes place on Sunday, November 30th on Main Street. A number of elves will be hidden around Main Street,
with prizes for each one found. This event takes place from noon to 4:00 PM on Sunday, and will also feature carolers and free (warm) trolley rides.
On week later, on Sunday, December7th, there will be the Snowflake Raffle Stroll. Along with carolers and the free trolley rides, stores up and down Main Street will be raffling away great holiday gifts.
There’s another stroll the week after that, on Sunday, December 14th, from 12:00 to 3:00, is the Sweet Treat Stroll. This stroll will feature free cookies and candy from many of the stores on Main Street.
Finally, on December 21st, from 12:00 to 4:00, there will be the Holiday Hat Stroll. Dust off your favorite holiday-themed hat and come on out.
There are a number of great stores on Main Street. From original pieces of art and jewelry at the Heritage Art Gallery and Glass Studio, to a gift certificate at Shimmers Salon and Day Spa, the strolls are a great opportunity to shop around for gifts.
Or, if you’re just looking for a bite to eat, check out Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar for some great seafood, or the Village Cafe if you just want to relax inside with a warm drink in your hand.
