Rhode Island Brew Fest in Providence
If you had fun at the winter Brew Fest, you’re a first-timer, or you’ve been going for years, you’ll be glad to know that the Summer Rhode Island Brew Fest is right around the corner. On July 20th, beer lovers will be gathering at the Providence Rink for a true celebration of beers from all over the country, but especially from the Ocean State itself.
There will be more than one hundred different beers to sample, from more than thirty different breweries. Many local brewers will be represented, such as the famous Trinity Brewhouse, Bucket Brewery out of Pawtucket, Grey Sale Brewing, and the Ravenous Brewing Company. Come by and treat yourself to the bounty of Rhode Island’s many breweries.
There will also be live music, along with a number of local food trucks that will be parked outside of the rink.
If you don’t like standing in one place for too long, check out the Craft Brew Races. Starting at 11:00 AM, and ending about an hour and a half before the Brew Fest begins, the Craft Brew Race is a 5K downtown run that ends with a craft brew tasting. Find out more at http://www.craftbrewraces.com/providence/.
The Brew Fest starts at 4:30 PM on the 20th and runs until 7:30 PM, leaving you plenty of time to make it home before sunset. While there have been multiple sessions in the past, the summer Brew Fest this year will only have one session. Brew Fest is strictly 21+.
