RI Philharmonic: February and March
Rhode Island has always been a great place for music and musicians, from rock to classical. You can stop by Lupo’s for the former, but for the latter, you might want to check out what the Rhode Island Philharmonic has to offer over the next few months.
Coming up on February the 22nd, the orchestra will be performing the overture from Mozart’s classic opera The Magic Flute, as well as Mahler’s Symphony Number Five. On March 22nd, there will be a performance of Udow, Stravinsky, and Tchaikovsky, featuring Russian-born violinist Philippe Quint.
The Rhode Island Philharmonic is more than just an orchestra, though. They also have a music school, offering private and group music lessons for children, as well as both youth and adult ensembles.
